Psychotherapeutic Counselling

Person Centred Psychotherapeutic Counselling is a humanistic approach to therapy that emphasises the clients natural capacity for growth, healing and self-understanding.

Developed by Carl Rogers, it is based on the belief that people thrive when they are offered a supportive environment in which they feel genuinely heard and accepted.

At the heart of this therapy are three core conditions:

  1. Empathy – the therapist seeks to deeply understand the clients inner world and communicates this understanding with sensitivity
  2. Unconditional Positive Regard – the therapist offers acceptance and non-judgement, allowing clients to explore thoughts and feelings freely
  3. Congruence (Genuineness) – the therapist is authentic and transparent, modelling healthy emotional presence.

Rather than directing or interpreting, the therapist follows the clients lead, trusting that individuals are experts on their own experience. This creates a safe, collaborative space where clients can reflect on their feelings, clarify their values and discover new ways to relate to themselves and others.

Person Centred Counselling is often experienced as warm, respectful and empowering. It supports clients dealing with a wide range of issues, such as stress, anxiety depression, low self-esteem or low self-confidence or changes in their lives. It helps build self-awareness reconnect with their inner-self and inner resources and move towards a greater mental health and wellbeing

Life Coaching

Life Coaching is usually with someone who is ready to change and is then supported to create and move through those changes by identifying the clear goals, what is holding you back and building the confidence to move forward with purpose, taking on the responsibility of ownership.

Together we will look at where you are now and where you’d like to be, breaking things down into achievable steps using the SMART Method (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-Bound) whilst exploring the mindset and habits that can empower growth.

I offer guidance, honest reflection and structure support, helping you stay motivated and accountable as you progress.

I work with individuals seeking clarity, balance, direction and progress. This can be in several different aspects, from a career change to improving your wellbeing, moving away from professional sports to personal goals.

The sessions will be supportive, encouraging and clear with accountability. We’ll focus on strengths, expanding confidence and possibilities with focus and energy.

Hypnotherapy

As a Hypnotherapist, I offer a calm, supportive space where you can access the deeper parts of your mind to crate meaningful and lasting change.

Using gentle, guided hypnosis I help you tap into the subconscious patterns that influence your thoughts, emotions and behaviours, allowing new insight and healthier responses to emerge.

My approach is collaborative and tailored to your needs, whether you’re looking and reducing anxiety or stress, breaking unhelpful habits, building confidence or dealing with a long held habit or phobia, hypnotherapy can help.

You remain fully in control throughout the process, simply entering a relaxed, focused state where positive suggestions and new perspectives can take root.

Hypnotherapy is used to create genuine change from the inside out, combining warmth, reassurance and evidence informed techniques to help you feel safe, grounded and empowered, with the aim of you leaving feeling more aligned, more resilient and more connected to the life you want to lead.
